„When I started CrossFit a year ago, I thought it was just going to be a way to get a good workout in and get stronger. Little did I know that CrossFit would also help me gain confidence, more grit when I face challenges, and it has made me a better person overall. I look forward to my hour of CrossFit Teens class each day and being cheered on by the coaches when I am struggling with the workout. The coaches have a great way of helping me embrace the struggle. When I don’t think I can lift more weight, my coaches believe in me. It feels awesome to add weight to my barbell and I feel so confident in myself when I am done. CrossFit has helped me get more grit. Before I didn’t push through the struggle, but now I can, and I have become a better swimmer. I’ve dropped times in almost all of my events. I know that if I can get through a struggle of a WOD, I can take on the pool. This mindset has also helped me take on the challenges that middle school throws at me.
